Look At Me
02:31
|
|||
You can look at me and look at you...
You can try and you will find that you see me as I won't be...

The First Time
02:45
|
|||
When it came down,
we couldn't believe our eyes,
we couldn't find a meaning,
and loose the one who tries.
When it spoke to us,
we wouldn't believe our ears,
we wouldn't find a meaning,
and loose the one who fears.
When it left us there,
we didn't have a choice,
we didn't find the meaning,
and left without a noise.
No words can tell what it was...

Nowhere To Run
02:18
|
|||
You look alone.
Story unknown.
What's there to know?
Where did you go?
There is a truth.
And there are lies.
Finding the first.
Right in your eyes.
It has been black.
It has been white.
Once it felt sad.
Will it feel right?
There will be rain and there will be sun,
then comes the day when there's nowhere to run to...

Do More
02:46
|
|||
Trying to find a way to hide,
from being left here with nothing to fear.
Trying to go a way unknown,
seeing a sign that once has been shown.
Nothing to wait for than to stand up and do more...
Taking a path that leads into dark,
using a light that shines through the night.
taking a key, unlocking the door,
just taking the step to find something more.
Nothing to wait for than to stand up and do more...

Humble
02:55
|
|||
Kind words are rare,
wait with me now.
If you allow,
a thought to spare.
Take the train to,
somewhere unknown.
Throwing the first stone,
find something new.
True words were spoken when action prevails...
There is today,
watch the treetops.
If your thought stops,
speak up, make way.
Kind words are free,
wait with me today.
If you find me,
Moments to replay.
True words were spoken when action prevails...

Scrapbook
02:55
|
|||
What to hope?
What to feel?
Burning rope.
Close and seal.
Wrote it down.
Stirred it up.
There's a frown.
There's a stop.
Life goes on,
until it won't.
When it's done,
I won't.
Looking back,
on me.
Nothing said,
Thoughts come free.
Write it down.
Stir it up.
There's no frown.
There's no stop.
I worked it out,
for you.
I wrote it down,
for you...

The Best Talk
04:27
|
|||
You said hello,
like a friend, with a smile,
told me your name,
softest voice, asked for mine.
Your eyes were bright,
like the fullest moon by night,
haven't seen before,
amber view, heart of gold.
Being by yourself,
you kept distant, saved your words,
sitting by the sideline,
you've been mostly left alone.
Things felt not right,
but you kept with your pride,
I've seen before,
in the mirror, in my mind.
You just came by,
spent a word, even two,
as you reached out,
being gentle, turned to you.
Things gathered pace,
and you came back to me,
I felt some worries,
but I liked your stories.
I liked your speed,
and your way to react,
it felt unique,
didn't feel like you'd act.
As you moved on,
gathered pace, opened up,
what I could see,
was like looking at me.
Everything you told,
something new, something old,
things that you like,
like to eat, like to do.
Following your lead,
I spoke too, along the way,
Felt just too much, I said sorry,
you: it's okay.
No need to apologize,
you cared and you gave hope,
inbetween those words,
you looked thoughtful, almost lost.
Didn't know where you would go,
my worries grew along.
Where did you keep running to?
Or were you running from?
Once you left your voice,
there are things that make you sad,
that I once smoked, I told you,
and you knew someone too.
What it was, you're telling me,
was much more than you thought,
I liked every word from you,
a past so dark, I looked into.
I wanted you to know,
that I think a lot of you,
many things felt wrong,
but I saw a chance for more,
we should keep on talking,
that's what we were going for.
Only after those four days,
suddenly you're gone,
disappeared, without a reach,
it weighs on me so strong.
It opened up an undertow,
I hope you're fine and walk,
whatever was or what will be,
it has been the best talk.
One time you sat left from me,
and told me from this book,
even in our later life,
we act like in our childhood.

Let Go
02:15
|
|||
When I walked towards the gate,
been right in time, but still too late.
And I felt that it was wrong,
but then remembered this old song.
You don't know what you can't know,
but you can try...
(To) let things go...
When I passed the way right through,
I looked behind and thought of you.
And I hoped that it might be,
the one true thing I had to see.
You don't know what you can't know,
but you can try...
(To) let things go...
When I reached the final step,
I knew the truth and held it back.
And I wished for you to know,
I tried to stay, but had to go.
You don't know what you can't know,
but you can try...
(To) let things go...

Time
08:24
|
|||
What about time?
Relatively fine.
Clockwise in line.
Counter and sign.
Early October,
the sun sets low,
yellow coloured sky,
time just went by...
Find it or loose.
Take it and try.
Give it, pass by.
You're to choose.
Early October,
the sun sets low,
yellow coloured sky,
time just went by...
What about you?
Old things renew.
Remember the view?
How you used to.
Early October,
the sun sets low,
yellow coloured sky,
time just went by...
What about me?
Numbers in three.
Shaking the tree.
Careless and free.
Promise me time,
sending a sign,
erasing a line,
haven't been fine.
Time gave meaning,
and took it away,
gave it convening,
nothing could stay.
Early October,
the sun sets low,
yellow coloured sky,
time just went by...

Fifty-One
03:00
|
|||
Everything gone.
On fifty-one.
Find anyone.
On fifty-one.
Truth underdone.
On fifty-one.
Being the one.
On fifty-one.
Being the one.
On fifty-one.
Nowhere to run.
On fifty-one.
Darkening sun.
On fifty-one.
Nothing's been won.
On fifty-one.
Everything gone.
On fifty-one.
Find anyone.
On fifty-one.
Truth underdone.
On fifty-one.
Being the one.
On fifty-one.
Nowhere to run.
On fifty-one.
Darkening sun.
On fifty-one.
Nothing's been won.
On fifty-one.
Thirty-nine gone.
On fifty-one.
